Theater: Man of La Mancha Musical

After many years without acting, I was glad to make my debut with Prague Shakespeare Company in a musical - my favorite genre of theater. Man of La Mancha is the inspiring story of Don Miguel de Cervanted going to prison during the Spanish Inquisition, where he attempts to convince his fellow prisoners not to burn his script for Don Quixote by using the prisoners to act out the story. It's a musical that takes the audience on a journey from fear to adventure, from love to comedy, and finally, inspiration.

In the Czech premiere of this musical I played a gypsy dancer, horse, and prisoner ensemble. I got to be on stage for over some 80% of the time as one character or another, inspiring both lust and slapstick comedy. I'll be more than happy to take part in the show when it returns in October 2017.
